Do You Need a Banks DUI Attorney?

It is not a good idea to face DUI or related criminal charges without the benefit of an experienced lawyer who specializes in Oregon DUI laws. The consequences of a conviction can be devastating for you and your family, including incarceration, large fines, a damaged reputation, barriers to employment and housing, and other hidden factors that can affect you for years to come. There is simply too much at stake to take unnecessary risks, and at Reynolds Defense Firm we believe that the good people we represent deserve every chance for success.

A great Banks DUI attorney not only knows Oregon DUI law inside and out, but they have long-standing experience in the Washington County Circuit Court.  The more your lawyer understands the particularities of the prosecutor’s office and local judges, the better their advice will be. This local’s perspective can make your entire process smoother, more predictable, and can even get you a better outcome. When you show up to court with a member of Reynolds Defense Firm’s stellar legal team, it shows you are taking your case seriously and are ready to move forward from a place of strength. We understand that one mistake does not undo a lifetime of being a good person, and we are ready to craft a strategy that works for you and your family.

FAQ about DUI arrests in Washington County, Oregon:

Many people facing DUI charges have asked us, “What is the diversion program?” If you meet eligibility requirements, you may enter into a formal agreement with the court lasting one year. After entering a plea of guilty or no contest and successfully fulfilling all court-mandated requirements, your DUII charge will be dismissed. As part of the diversion agreement, the court will require you to undergo drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment. Additionally, you’ll need to attend a victim impact panel, pay associated court fees, and install an ignition interlock device on any vehicle you drive during the diversion period. Making the decision of whether or not diversion is the best route for your case (and whether or not you are eligible), is best made with an experienced DUI attorney.
