Of the 27 schools, the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center stands out as a having a unique curriculum. There are 70 elective classes in 17 different career field, and 16 career programs that give students the opportunity to earn college credits. Clackamas High School is one of the few schools located in Clackamas, and has 2 campuses, east campus and west campus. The two campuses are connected by a covered walkway that functions as a gateway to the football field and several grass soccer fields.

Clackamas is also home to Camp Withycombe, a training facility for the National Guard. It was originally known as the Clackamas Rifle Range, but renamed to Clackamas Benson after former Governor Frank W. Benson. The camp finally earned it’s present name as Camp Withycombe during World War I after former Governor James Withycombe. It expanded due to military needs for the war, and served as the headquarters for the National Guard. Camp Withycombe presently serves as a supply depot, equipment repair facility and training facility, but the rifle range is closed.
