FAQ about DUI arrests in Johnson City, Oregon

When our clients hire us, they are usually full of questions about what may be coming for them and their family. One frequently asked question is “What is an IID?”. The IID, or “Ignition Interlock Device” is a device that is installed in your car that requires you to blow into it, or give it a “breath sample”, before you can start your car. This device is a must when you have been convicted of a DUI or if you enter the diversion program. Refer to our FAQ for more information on a IID and how/why you would need to install one.

Riverside Park

Located along the Clackamas River, Riverside park is a great spot to go fishing, floating, kayaking, or if you’re not into water sports there is also a baseball field, soccer field, and picnic tables! It’s a great place for good weather activities that you don’t need to travel far to get to. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset and if it’s clear outside, you’ll get a nice mountain view! It’s located at 17298 SW Water Ave, Clackamas, OR 97015.

Wilhoit Springs Park

If you’re willing to travel a little farther into the outskirts of Clackamas County, head to Wilhoit Springs Park. This is a real hidden gem of Clackamas County. It’s a bit isolated, which makes it a great location to get away from city life, and because it’s so isolated, it’s not as widely known as some of the other natural springs around Oregon. The park features two separate springs: a soda spring where the water bubbles out of the ground, and a sulfurous spring. The water is very cold but very charged with carbon dioxide. In the early 1920’s it was a resort town that fell into disrepair until Clackamas County bought the land in the 1970’s. Now, it’s a great park to explore and gather some fresh spring water to take home! It’s located at: Wilhoit Springs County Park, 38160 S Wilhoit Rd, Molalla, OR 97038.
