Staff Bios

Ami Lamb,
Firm Liaison

Ami is an essential member of our team, bringing a positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping people. She has a passion for connecting with everyone who calls our office, and her desire to make sure they get the help they need is truly inspiring to everyone around her. She is a ‘rare’ Oregon native with a love for travel. Ami has visited almost every state and national park across the U.S! After all, her motto is, “life is an adventure.” When she’s not at work she loves to stay active and never turns down an opportunity to visit unfamiliar places and meet new people. Some of her favorite things to do are random dance parties with her children, coaching her daughter’s softball team, singing and playing her guitar.

Sasha Trujillo,
Senior Paralegal

One of the Sasha’s many strengths that make her such an essential part of our legal team, is her ‘can-do’ mindset. She doesn’t give up easily and is always looking for a way to make things happen. Every day Sasha is grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community that truly cares about its clients and works hard to obtain outcomes timely and in the best interests of the good people we represent. She is soft spoken, but within the first few minutes of talking to Sasha her level of confidence is unmistakable. This quality, paired with her extensive experience, helps clients recognize they are in good hands. She has the ability to remain calm and organized which helps the legal team stay focused on taking care of our clients. Outside of the office Sasha dabbles in many hobbies, such as knitting, sewing, photography, hiking and gaming. If you get the chance, makes sure you ask her about her impressive button collection!

Devin Foust,
Financial Coordinator

As the Financial Coordinator Devin assists in the day-to-day functions of running our business. She loves the opportunity to help our firm provide exceptional customer service to our clients, as well as providing support to her teammates. She understands that her role is essential to the continued growth of our firm, and not only does Devin take the responsibility of her role to heart, but she does it all with a smile and a can-do attitude. When she’s not at the office, Devin is quite the adventurer! She has lived in 47 states, loves the outdoors, and does fire spinning as a hobby! Still, even with all that she has experienced throughout her travels, nothing quite compares to the joy of being an aunt and spending time with her adorable nieces and nephews.

Susan Moriyama,
Chief Finance Officer

Susan Moriyama is our Chief Finance Officer. As part of our Operations Team, Susan helps the business machine run efficiently, all while maintaining a fantastic offbeat sense of humor. Originally from a small town in Ohio, she moved to Oregon after spending several years in Washington D.C. and Tokyo. Susan brings 15+ years of experience working in the investment industry as a Performance Measure Analyst, but she’s also been an English Teacher, Classical Dance Instructor and a Japanese-English translator. Her diverse background gives her the ability to be flexible and solution oriented as the firm continues to grow, which is fortunate because we are growing quickly! When Susan isn’t busy helping our team, she spends a lot of time reading, doing math and cooking. As a relatively new Portland resident with an adventurous spirit, Susan enjoys exploring and finding the city’s hidden gems with her husband and 11-year-old son.

Tammy Reynolds,
Director of Brand Integrity & Growth

Tammy Reynolds is our Director of Brand Integrity and Growth. Tammy’s great mix of creativity and straightforward logic has been instrumental in growing the Reynolds Defense Firm as a business while allowing us to remain true to the core values and beliefs that make us so successful. You may notice an uncanny similarity in Dan’s last name and Tammy’s. This is not a coincidence! Nineteen years ago Tammy agreed to marry Dan, and she’s been happily stuck with his last name and smiling face ever since. Outside the office, Tammy loves Cross Fit training, being outdoors, and of course, their son Jack who is now officially a teenager.

Destiny Van Rooy,
Client Experience Coordinator

Destiny recently decided to take her decade long knowledge of the criminal justice system and her amazing skills in connecting with people in a new direction. The marketing department welcomed her hard work and dedication with open arms. Destiny has extensive experience with much of our behind-the-scenes work and knowledge of the criminal case process. That background along with her creativity helps our brand continue to grow, by making sure that the human element of the legal experience is not lost on the good people we represent. Outside of work, Destiny spends her time crafting and exploring the art and music-scene with her husband, London. She isn’t shy about her wicked sugar addition or her love of good coffee, good food, and good conversations.

Derica Waller,
Blue Binder Project Senior Coach

Derica’s enthusiasm for helping others couples well with her 20+ years of experience as a master level therapist, and we truly value her as a team member. As a coach herself, Derica gets to bring over two decades of experience to inspire positive, lasting changes for her clients. As a manager, Derica provides energy and leadership to the other coaches in our BBP program. She offers the necessary support to ensure the success of each coach in helping our client’s meet their personal goals to bring out their truest and best selves. Her mission at RDF is to be in a constant state of growth, herself, in order to continue to help every client who needs us. She loves that everyone at RDF really believes in what they do, and while there are certain ideas our team talks about, we live by our beliefs daily. When Derica’s not working, she loves to garden, hike through the Pacific Northwest coast range, and hang out with her husband and 2 kids. She also enjoys yoga—when there’s time for Derica to practice yoga, her life gets that much better!

Dana Hatch,
Legal Assistant

Dana is technically an Idaho native but has just as many “roots” in Oregon, having lived here for 25 years. She is an integral member of our legal team and we’re happy to have her fantastic skills and calm demeanor in the office. She brings with her many years of legal experience, and she adds positive energy and a focused work ethic to the legal team. Her qualifications allowed her to step in and become an important part of our team quickly. Dana is somewhat of an artisan, as she loves to decorate and craft using a wide range of mediums. When she’s not working at RDF, she loves spending time with her family and pets, playing games, and she enjoys taking in all the wonders of nature.

Jennifer FitzPatrick,
Client Intake Specialist

Derica’s enthusiasm for helping others couples well with her 20+ years of experience as a master level therapist, and we As one of our client intake specialists, Jen provides support to people who contact our office looking for help after their DUI arrest. She has a natural ability to put people at ease and is always empathetic to the stressful situations people are going through. What Jen loves most about being part of the RDF team is the opportunity to connect with new people every day and working with a group of like-minded people who share a common goal of helping others. She has a background in the service industry and for many years she worked as a private investigator for criminal defense cases and insurance claims. While Jen hails from Michigan and as lived in a few states, she is happy to call Oregon, and Reynolds Defense Firm, her home. Outside of the office she enjoys taking trips to the coast with her partner, being creative, and having random dance parties in her living room. She looks forward to getting back into community theater and hopes to get back on a Dragon Boat in the river soon!

Anna Christina Olsen,
Legal Assistant

Chris is a California native who brings years of well-rounded legal experience to the team. In addition to criminal law experience, her background includes family law, personal injury, and estate planning. One of Chris’ many strengths is her unique ability to remain calm under pressure. She also has a wonderful ability to understand the experiences and feelings of others outside of her own perspective. Chris loves the Reynolds Defense Firm dedication to helping good people, and she appreciates the strong sense of teamwork within our office culture. Chris stays busy outside of the office as a beekeeper, especially in the warmer months. And when she is not tending to her hives, she enjoys watching movies and traveling to Mexico to spend time with family.

Maria Lopez,
Legal Assistant

Maria is one of our dedicated Legal Assistants who brings a vibrant energy and unwavering commitment to her role. She was born in California, but she has called Oregon home since she was 10 years old. Maria brings over 12 years of legal experience and a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University. Fluent in English and Spanish, she’s known for her hard work, keen eye for detail, and genuine care for our clients. Maria is passionate about helping people, and what she loves most about her role as a legal assistant is the opportunity to work closely with our clients and see their success stories unfold. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, baking, hosting gatherings, and exploring nature through camping and hiking. Maria is excited to be part of the RDF team, working every day to change lives.

Sayde Ann Lo Turco,
Legal Assistant

Sayde’s enthusiasm and impressive people skills make her such a great asset to our team and allow her to be so successful in her role of providing support to our clients and our legal team. She has an extensive background in the cannabis industry, which was everchanging with each day bringing something new and exciting. Because of this experience, Sayde thrives in an energetic environment and has a unique ability to stay calm under pressure. She always welcomes new opportunities, and she is grateful to be part of such an incredible team that gets to help good people from all different walks of life. She is an Arizona native who is happy to call Oregon her new home. When she is not hard at work, she enjoys riding her bike when she can, hiking somewhere with water and a view, and she likes to paint and embroider (with room for improvement!) She is very close with her family in Arizona, so keeping in touch with them is something she holds very near and dear to her heart.

Natalie PaulsonJones,
Client Intake Specialist

As one of our outstanding Client Intake Specialists, Natalie is one of the first encouraging voices our potential clients hear when they call. Her calm nature, people skills, and genuine desire to help others shines through every interaction she has with the good people who contact our office. She also brings years of service industry experience and understands just how important first impressions are. Her compassionate nature and pride in the fantastic work we do here at RDF make her a great part of our team, and her reassuring tone helps our clients understand that they’ve come to the right place. Natalie is an Oregonian, born and raised in Ashland, Oregon, and has been in Portland most of her adult life. Outside of the firm Natalie enjoys spending time with friends, reading a good book, and cooking delicious meals.

Claudia Fabbrini,
Office Administrator

With almost 20 years of experience in customer service and management, Claudia has the impressive ability to connect with almost anyone and understand their needs. This background makes her the perfect fit for her role. Claudia helps the firm by working closely with each department to improve processes and create systems that will help us continue to grow, as a business, so we can help more people. What stands out immediately when you have the pleasure of meeting Claudia is her proficiency and compassion. She enjoys being a part of a team that truly seeks to help people when they need it most. Originally from California, she has found a true home and sense of community in Portland. She loves nature, travel, and is passionate about food and cooking. She even plans all her trips around the food she will eat. And, as a testament to her love of travel, Claudia is also working on getting her pilots license – check her out in the pilot’s seat!

Kelsey Harnisch,
Client Intake Specialist

Kelsey has an extensive background in the service industry, and she loves applying her skills to her role as one of our Client Intake Specialists, helping people on the front end when they contact our office looking for guidance. Kelsey is a fair and compassionate listener, who loves the opportunity to connect with people. Her goal with every conversation is to talk through each person’s unique legal needs and determine the best route to provide the help they’re looking for. She is detail-oriented and approaches every situation with a positive attitude, making her such a delight to work with. Outside of the office she enjoys taking advantage of the beautiful PNW summers by attending as many music festivals as possible. She enjoys camping, dancing, and cracking jokes wither closest friends – making music festivals the perfect backdrop for all her favorite high-spirited activities.

Jesus Navarro,
Legal Assistant

Another one of those hard-to-find Oregon natives, Jesus was born in Woodburn, Oregon and still loves the Pacific Northwest as much as ever. He brings with him years of experience working in both immigration law and family law as well as a cadet for a local police agency. His background has given him a deep understanding of how both the court system and the criminal justice system work, making him a great asset to our team and our clients. Jesus has been immersed in the legal field for a long time and he appreciates the opportunity to work with dedicated people. Even more, he is extremely grateful for the ability to help clients through some very difficult situations, both legally and emotionally. He understands that dealing with an arrest can be scary and is happy to provide the compassion that our clients need to move forward with confidence. Outside of the office Jesus enjoys working on his car and playing basketball, tennis, and pickleball. He is very close with his siblings and loves spending quality time with his family.

Sarah Yater,
Finance Assistant

As our Finance Assistant, Sarah is a wonderful support working with our clients to help them navigate their financial commitments. Her calm nature, people skills, and genuine desire to help others shines through every interaction she has with the good people we represent. She also brings years of service industry experience and understands just how important first impressions are. Her compassionate nature and pride in the fantastic work we do here at RDF make her a great part of our team, and her reassuring tone helps our clients understand that they’re in great hands. Sarah moved here from Hilton Head, SC, where she lived on a sailboat that she restored before embarking on her cross-country adventure with her dog, Luna. Outside of the firm Sarah enjoys exploring, playing with her three dogs, and nesting in her new, beautiful home. She also loves living closer to her twin sister, who is teaching her how to surf.

Katherine Martin,
Executive Assistant

Meet Katie, our Executive Assistant! With a diverse background in mail-order pharmacies and the performing arts, Katie brings a unique blend of problem-solving skills and creativity to her role. Her knack for operational efficiency and attention to detail ensures that our office runs seamlessly. Katie’s warm personality, can-do attitude, and ability to effortlessly connect with everyone make her such a valued member of our team. What she loves most about her role at Reynolds Defense Firm is the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives every day and working with a team dedicated to helping others. Outside of work, Katie is a passionate rock climber, snowshoer, and karaoke aficionado. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Katie’s early years were marked by frequent travels. In 2018, she decided to settle in Oregon to be closer to family and lay down some roots.

Robert Oberdorfer,
Marketing Coordinator

Rob, a true Oregonian, was born in Portland and raised in Bend. His love for the Pacific Northwest is unwavering, having lived in Eugene for college and briefly on Long Island, which only strengthened his commitment to the West Coast. With over 17 years of experience in the legal field, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team. One of his favorite things about Reynolds Defense Firm is the strong focus on teamwork and our unique office culture. Rob is passionate about helping people and, through his role, he is excited about the opportunity to contribute to our growth so we can continue to help more good people. Outside of work, Rob is a musician, playing and producing music in his home studio. Although he’s hung up his touring hat, he still loves creating music with local projects and friends. When he’s not immersed in music, you can find him hiking with his wife and dogs, exploring the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
